The exceptional attack of downy mildew that hit Tuscany in 2023 also affected Villa Corliano unfortunately. The damage to the grapes has, in fact, compromised most of the production. After assessing the state of affairs and judging the quality of the first harvested grapes to be insufficient, the winery decided not to make any corrections in the cellar and therefore to forgo the whole 2023 harvest. A great sacrifice for us of Villa Corliano but also a fundamental act of consistency to the principles that guide us. An important sign of respect that, we are sure, will be appreciated by our loyal customers.
